Four Minus One

Since we were never able to come up to Salt Lake to celebrate the girls birthday in July, we will finally be coming up in September for Peach Days up in Brigham City on Saturday... And by "We", I mean just the girls and I. Rachel asked for time off long ago, but since they shorthanded at dispatch (short 7 people, plus 2 more on maternity leave), they denied her request. : (

So, to not disappoint anyone, I will personally attempt to drive up with the girls on Friday, September 11th and leaving for home on Monday, September 14th. Sure, it may take an hour to three longer to drive up there and back, but that is the risk I'll have to take. Luckily, they seem to enjoy watching movies on my iPod touch that I attach to the back of my head rest. It's making sure their diapers are dry and they have waters and snacks.

So if you need me to work on your computer or iPod, please contact me before I leave... And remember, it will be first come first served.

Cell Phone Videos 7

Whoops! I posted the video below on August 12 (4 days ago) and I forgot to finish this blog so you can view the video here. Sorry

Here is a new video of videos (#7) that were taken on my cell phone.

First - One of the girls thinks it is funny to crash on dad.
Second - Ady dances to Napoleon Dynamite.
Third - The girls eat dinner at Subway shortly after we arrived in California in April 2009.

Forth - An panned view of Downtown Sonora, California. Then, I noticed a humming bird near the bird feeder.
Fifth - We let the girls outside to help water the grass and plants.
Sixth - Playing at the water park in St. George.

I Saw The Sign

After dealing with the rocks, dry/hard dirt and blisters on my fingers, I finally got the sign up at my business. And the best thing, I have already made my money back on this sign. Sweet!

It's Taken Awhile

In June, I told you about how I finally moved into Ink-Pressive Prints to share a little office with the owner to get my business name out there.

On the 3rd of this month, I had them put a sticker on the door window saying my business name, hours and phone number.

I also had another business, the one who put the stickers on my van, make me a banner to put outside so when people drive-by they see that since I have had two customers see Rachel or I when we were out holding the home-made sign that I made. So if a home made sign can get me new customers without me having to stand out in the heat, I know that will work since it will be out there 24/7. I was hoping to pick up the banner last week. Long story short, I will not be able to pick it up until Tuesday (8/11/09). This is what the proof looks like...

I will post a picture of the banner in another blog entry once I have it hanging up outside.

More Tweets Per Minute

I'm actually at the laundrymat washing a blanket for the bed while I type this on my iPod touch...

Lately, I have to admit, my memory is not what it use to be. I use to be able to remember what happened on what day or week (to an extent). But since it has been over a year since I left my day to day job at Lin's, I can't seem to remember what exact day it is or what happened on what day. Everything blends together. The only way I remember what happened is if someone (or thing) brings up or mentions that past event.

So I have decided to use my Twitter account (@rsharich) for much more than a micro blog. Instead of Twittering about some fun, random and/or odd event-- I'm going to start using to help me remember everything that I did that I feel will help me outin remembering later on.

So why am I blogging about it here? First, 140 characters is not enough to express myself this time on Twitter. Second, as of me writting this, I currently have 90 people and businesses Twitter user accounts following me. I want to give them a heads up to turn me off on their mobile devices if they do not want to receive 10-50+ tweets from my each day. Don't worry, I will make it so that my tweets do not appear on Facebook as well (as it currently does at the moment).

You are still welcome to follow me on Twitter if you want, but if you have me enabled on your mobile device to receive them after I post them, I would turn my Tweets off so I don't get complaints that I am tweeting too much or you are getting tired of hearing your text message alert go off every other minute with one of my tweets.

"How do I make sure I don't get your Twitters on my phone?"

Very simple. If you are able to send and receive Twitter messages from your phone, send "OFF rsharich" (without the quotations) from your phone in a text message to Twitter. That is it. This will not remove me as a friend on Twitter, but will disable only the mobile tweets from me only. So do it now!

Well, the blanket is finally done.... Time to head on home.

Turning 2

On Sunday (7/26), we celebrated the twins 2nd birthday. We had the party at my mother-in-laws house. The girls received new princess shoes and bouncy ball (ones you sit on and hop up and down with). They had fun.
