Holiday Party’s

Every first Saturday of December, my moms side of the family has it’s annual Christmas Party. If I haven’t said why before, it’s because there are a lot of family members and trying to take time to get everyone together closer to the holidays is near impossible. So everyone travels to and gathers in Nephi, Utah, and then the party usually starts around noon. We eat, Santa Visits the younger kids, white elephant gift exchange and then home.

Just so happened, that this year for the Home Depot work party, they had it at the Gallivan Plaza downtown. Amanda and I left early to hit City Creek before the party (can’t remember why), but the stores were closing when we arrived. So we drove around trying to find a good parking spot close by, then walked to the building it was in (above the ice skate rental booth). They provided dinner from Apple Spice, and then let us go ice skating in the rink below. They said to skate until a certain time, then come back up to have a raffle for everyone.
